So, that was anā¦adventure.
When I was reviewing this game, I always thought of the NKās win conditions.
āThatās a preposterous mechanic! People might not even know about it!ā
But eventually, I dropped my stance against it
Unless town had been playing very poorly by playing into a known anti-claim mechanic, they would not suffer the loss. It would not even apply to dead players.
Scum had instant win conditions of their own, a wide variety of options, and could coordinate effectively. They didnāt have nonfactional kp, but their factional was almost guaranteed to work in most instances.
Butā¦it unfolded in a way I couldnāt expect.
Wazzaās gambit was played masterfully even in the face of anticlaim being likely to exist.

Canāt say I donāt blame town for not picking up on the signs.
Scum clearly did. But they were mostly powerless to stop it.
