I find they arent really trying to lurk of fly under the radar. And much like whysper they correct people and push reads that make sense. And they do it in a natural way rather than a wolf trying to appear like good townie
all of the quotes in that post would suggest he isn’t town
he constantly complains about townplay on this site and as whysper points out he also complained that he has hardly been scum
so when given the opportunity to choose his alignment, taking both of these things into consideration, why would he not choose scum?

I want you to read Soul in Deus Ex because in that game I had a day of questioning Soul (Soul was deflecting questions) and then I went boom the next day. So I think Soul has some scum equity for refusing to answer questions.

That game was botched for me because of my work schedule and I wouldn’t base much of a read from Deus Ex. Deus Ex is a special theme to me because it’s one of my favorite games as of the last few months. I already knew a bit of the lore and wanted to get more involved with that theme even if I was town. I don’t have as much enthusiasm this time around. I’m going to play to the best of my ability, but I am not as excited for this game. Deus Ex was my best town game so far (besides that one game I got towncored)
