I think I’ve gotten enough. I totally meant to cut the act early yesterday but it was too much of an ongoing discussion.

I’m not a compulsive dayvig. I only said that to get some reactions and then realized that it’d probably get a lot more information had I kept the act up for a lot longer than a normal RT. The idea of “oh, someone can just shoot this suspicious dude” absolutely changes how people think about the game, I believe. And it’s absolutely shown. My “gun” has been used for threats, has been used to justify potentially unbalanced rolls, and quite a few things in between. I won’t be claiming my true role unless absolutely necessary.

There’s no subtle “this is a RT” cues left behind, so if you distrust me now then so be it. I think hinting at it being a reaction test would diminish the results, after all. And there absolutely has been results. Look at all of these posts saying “katze shoot this” “katze shoot that” “katze shoot me” (yeah, I’m looking at you Possessed)

I don’t think I quite want to out all of my personal conclusions from this yet, but I think my spiciest one is that I don’t think Possessed is Mafia, asking me to shoot them themselves doesn’t feel too wolfy to me. But you can get your own conclusions from that.

I didn’t really think I’d be too strong of a player but this play seems to have further progressed the game quite a lot so I’m content with it and don’t regret a thing. :slight_smile:

I’m willing to focus on solving though. One of my criticisms on my play is usually that I don’t force my reads which at times WERE right…and now I’m getting people saying I’m going too hard with it.
