[SFM] - WoW: BfA v1.0 - Day 5 (5/16) - The Alliance win!

But you can. There is no way nothing has pinged you among all the posts you did read.

Townread from pretty much nowhere as Geyde said, with meaningless fluff to ā€˜justify’ it

If you want I’ll swap to Frost before I sleep but do you think Soul flips scum here Vul?

Bucko, all the posts I did read are posts I can barely remember except for the more recent ones

Like I said, I think Soul/Frost are almost equally likely to flip scum and I’m willing to go for Soul. However, I want to go for Frost over Soul because people have been lowkey ignoring Frost and I think that’s indicative of him being scum. Hardly anyone wants to push him and I don’t understand why.

If I have been hardpushing town this game then I deserve to be mislynched :^)

Twirls knife.
I’ve seen this type of thing come from scum so many times.

And your opinion on his fake townslip?

And that’s why I’m Scumread in most of the games I’m in

Seriously though, I want to hear the explanation for Frost

People have pretty much said it already, I don’t believe the townslip either. ā€˜Superpower is confirmed town.’ So he kinda agreed with the assertion that he thought I was the superpower… then in hindsight, it would mean he has just outed me to the scumteam (he hasn’t, but if I was town superpower, that would be exactly what happened).
I think Soul dug a hole under his feet. The superpower thing doesn’t make logical sense even if he really did think the superpower was town.

Ehh resistance to Frost lynch makes me want to kill it, but soul’s behaviour/fake townslip makes me not want to let that live either.

So he thinks I’m confirmed town but still decided to read me and come to the conclusion I’m town?

This makes no sense.

If anything I feel soul is more likely to flip scum here so he should be TK’d (less chance of guilt if this game has guilty viges) and we lynch soul who is slightly less chance to flip scum just because he could just be a super tired not thinking townie who had no clue what he was saying

Frost*

Theory:

If he’s town and I really am the town superpower (I’m obviously not but bear with me): Soul is attracting attention to me and making a read on me for no reason. In that world, he already knows my alignment, I don’t know his. The only reason I can think of would be for me to read him as town, but that also makes no sense because in that scenario, I would easily be able to tell who knows I’m the town superpower and who doesn’t. Meaning, nobody would need to read me in order to get a townread from me. That’s also why having a town superpower would not be balanced, but I digress.

If he’s scum, he knows I’m town - so surely he has a reason to read me and conclude I’m town. 1. towncred 2. potential pocketing 3. being correct. In that scenario, he does not know I’m the superpower, but he does know I’m town - so reading me makes sense.

TL;DR From a town POV, Soul’s behavior makes absolutely no sense to me. From a scum POV, it does make sense.

It’s still possible Soul is a very confused townie, but I just don’t understand his motivation and his arguments from a town POV.

Okay, good, we have plurality.

I’m fine with voting Soul too, but Frost needs to die.

Morning nerds

Why won’t anyone answer my question? :^)
I’m willing to vote Soul, it’s just that I want to know which person’s the better lynch

Scum know who their superpower is, but the superpower does not know them I believe.

But from Frost’s PoV if he thought you were Town Superpower (maybe he thought you claimed it?) and therefore, were confirmed town to him since he didn’t know there was no town superpower.

If he is town he made the read with a lack of information, thinking you were just a regular player.

If he was scum, he made the read knowing you were a townie and therefore, was trying to pocket you/act like hes contributing.

Maybe its a perspective slip: he knows you’re a townie, and we said town superpower so he was like Vulgard is confirmed town

Wrapping my head around this is extremely difficult.

The issue is that he read me as town superpower for no reason. If he’s town, he has no reason to put that in the open. If he’s scum, that’s an oddly specific read to make.
