Distancing is a method commonly used by scumteams.
It means putting a distance between you and your scum teammate.
It is so that you can bus them, gaining towncred and then pretend that you’re good because the scum also accused you of being scum

@Hippolytus my viable trio is Nuclear, Orange and Marluxion.

Orange is with no doubt being weird compared to normal when Town.
Marl scumread orange and then Pardoned him too
Nuclear and Orange have distanced so much they’re already 11 hours apart
