I’m pretty sure Celeste has been softing gunslinger, which has a very strong plunder with no drawbacks to using so there is no reason why she wouldn’t want plunder.

Another reason why I know Max is faking is.
What is the purpose of no actioning?
If there’s an observer-esque class which seen you visit someone, you can be confirmed.
Whereas if you don’t visit, then you seem by far more suspicious

I chose to use my action, despite the fact it probably wouldn’t be effective due to the reason that it required Captain to give plunder.
Yet, as they hadn’t done so, it was useless but could still be picked up on.
Claiming a no action, claims you have a reason to hide
