It can’t be himself, since he’s already dead. Who do you propose the person is responsible for these mark placements? I doubt they are harmful in the end, but would killing the host (not you GM) activate the marks from it’s functions?
Except Deadfrien (now Rogue) is too inactive to be player spreading disease marks, it had to be active one.

I just really dislike his assurances to Rogue that votes don’t matter, how he didn’t vote for Insanity, who was obviously scum at that point, and how he tried to defend tardis immediately from Hippo’s wagon by AtE-ing me

There is absoloutely nothing in the rules preventing somebody from claiming they have a mark and yet they don’t, to avoid suspicion.
Just playing devil’s advocate here.
This is probably a hugely wild idea.
But, is it possible we have NK doing the kills and the disease spreader is actually Unseen?
