I’m not a huge fan of there being 4 votes on a single weapon already, but compared to the speed of the last game’s wagons, I feel I should take my judgements with a grain of salt and focus on the people inside the wagons rather than the wagon itself

Okay lets see the choices
If we pick Lances, we’re assuming they also did that or picked swords, but not axes
If we pick Swords, we’re assuming they also did that or picked axes, but not lances
And If we pick Axes, we’re assuming they also did that or picked lances
Scum would pick Axes to punish early town trying to get the further victory from Lances
Scum would pick Lances to tie the lance stuff or outplay town trying to beat axes in the first situation
Scum would pick Swords in a risky play of that ability, or to tie with people trying to beat axes, or just to win if people try to use axes in the thought of scum using lances
Depending of their convertion they have no reason to try to win any specific weapon rn, unless they used that sword thing (in any way they chose the weapon before the convert so yeah)

I just desconsiderate the decoy, the manipulation is more like a way of thinking how they would benefit from the further advantage with the certain weapons victories
Yes, that is true. However, there could be a chance of their attempt at persuasion failing depending on who the scum is which could end up in them getting caught
