I think that baz is town, is what I think.
This is why.
Baz would know as scum, even if he was being lazy, that the Insurgent ISN’T the evil faction leader.

Insurgent plainly takes the role of the “Assassin”, and one of their abilities directly runs off of the same “Call to Arms” mechanic that every BD class has in this, EXCEPT for the Negotiator, who controls when it’s activated.
Ergo, the Negotiator here is the scumteam leader, not the Insurgent.
But in terms of value of 1 KPN or 1 convert every other night, it’s hard to say. Insurgent is not as easily replaceable as an Assassin, so I don’t think the comparison holds up. I don’t hate Baz atm, so sure. What else you got?
Also if bd didnt get a convert if we find the negotiator bds done if bd did we still have bd to find
