When I prepared my first post today I fully expected to be accused of powerwolfing. In fact everything went as I predicted.

  1. There is resistance on the wagon I initiated.
  2. Tele claimed Priest as her ā€˜confirmable.ā€™
  3. My scumread is voting me because of my accusation/tunnel.
  4. And now Iā€™m being accused of powerwolfing.

Iā€™m not sure if the fact everything is going as I predicted makes me correct about my reads or wrong.

Okay, Iā€™ve gotten enough work done that I feel like I can take a break to come back to this thread.

I donā€™t think Alice would fake a greencheck on Tele if Tele were actually scum, especially since if Tele ended up getting exeā€™d anyway, it would make her look really bad. With the position Tele was at at EoD1, Iā€™d basically expect Alice to push her for towncred. It is possible that she had some form of tailoring ability applied to her last night, which interfered with Aliceā€™s check, but I donā€™t know that thatā€™s likely.

I do want an explanation of why @Alice decided to check someone who claimed mechanically confirmable, it feels like kind of a waste of a check to me.

I expected at least a few people to jump on it but it seems that everybody who did backed off.
Iā€™m still convinced Tele might be claiming Priest to buy time as I anticipated but here comes Alice with ā€˜mechanical proofā€™ and Iā€™m stumped.
Thereā€™s the option of Tele/Alice scumbuds but I donā€™t see any connections between what they were doing. There was also Alice scumreading Tele because of progression because thatā€™s exactly what I did.

Something feels super off here.
