Don’t you have to be converted from mystic to take mystic cult alts?
Is there info proving Alice not to be CL? Weren’t you before stating Alice wanted you to wait a night so she could convert you? You also asked me about an Alice/Arete/Italy scumteam right?
Does this come from a town mindset? Surely his possibilities as town are ‘green check im town’ or ‘red check im framed’
The problem is that Italy’s night action is so dumb I might believe it. It shouldn’t be that hard to fake a check in this game state if you’re Cult. You can do it on a teammate, someone you have already been reading as BD, etc.
Even if the check is wrong and we lynch it (proving it’s wrong since there are no day flip tailors in this game), Italy still forces Prince to jail him or something. There’s a net gain for his Cult team if he’s Cult.
Italy admitting to using Smite does not give the Cult any advantage. I don’t see how it could possibly be a good move, unless it was done for towncred because ‘too scummy to be scum.’ That said, there are much better ways for scum!Italy to gain towncred. Like a really good check at night - bonus points if it’s correct (aimed at the rival Cult).
That’s why I’m willing to buy Italy’s actions and I don’t think Arete started the game as scum. However, I can easily see Arete being converted. He’s one of the better converts here from my perspective, especially since he hasn’t outed yet and doesn’t have to play too carefully as a result. (Fake believable night actions, factor in the possibility of an Observer / Princess, etc.)
Italy is still in my PoE but I’m willing to swap him out for Derps.

Jake has done a lot of pushing this game, but I’m not willing to call him BD based on just that - especially since he has been sheeping a lot. If anything, he might be an aggressive Cult member. He is not exploratory with his votes and tunnels people a lot, which might be considered BD, but considering the day events and Jake’s flip I don’t think the tunnel can be excused so easily. Derps really wanted that lynch no matter what Jake said.
I’m thinking he was trying his best to get a mislynch. It’s possible he is Kai’s scumbud and that’s exactly why he did it.
Another possibility is that his other scumbud is lurking and someone needs to push agenda. Tunneling without remorse looks BD so that is Derps’ strategy.
Either way I’m more than willing to swap Italy with Derps in my PoE now.
I’m actually buying this at this point.

I like it. Not only is it in my PoE, it makes sense to me.
It would also make sense their strategies are completely different. Kai and Derps have been interacting and voting together, trying to start good wagons. Napoleon/Alice/Arete have barely interacted with each other, but ultimately they were still on the same page when it comes to the day’s lynch. I find it highly suspicious for three BD to agree with each other without having reads on one another or meaningful interactions between them.
Basically I’m sold on what Tele’s been saying, since it fits my PoE. Everyone who’s been shading her is in my PoE as well.
I like where this is going now.
Who would Kai and Derps convert at this point of the game?
And why out of Kai and Derps would they eradicate n1?
