In the case that Arete is scum teams with Soul we are kind of fucked, but not as fucked as we would’ve been going with the previous plan
Do you not think its scummy at all that when Cult victory is within grasp, only then Arete actually posts anything meaningful and attempts to completely shift the direction of the town?
The simple fact of the matter is, if you’re not prepared to make big plays, you’re going to lose forum mafia: why do you think I shifted the link off of Kai and onto Alice?
I’m 100% sure they’re scum with Soul.
Arete did nothing all game until now, and she just happens to be able to conflict with the CL in order to clear herself. So convenient.
Lynching Arete here is the objective best play… we know both scum so lets kill them before an invoker can disrupt town.
But lynching Soul today is the best because town will willingly participate in that wagon and town can still win even if Arete is scum
That would be the same outcome as lynching Soul if you really believe Arete is Invoker
Either way we need to resolve these drunks.
I think lynching Arete is better because if somehow she flips town, you can use her abilities to stop Soul.
