SFOL 53 - Dead Chat

@Blizer

You should channel me tonight for towncred :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, is it just me, or is anyone else really bothered by townies who don’t even bother to read the thread?

I mean at this point Derps is the most on track

He kinda reminds me of myself

His top scumreads are Magnus and Wazza

Oh, well I only read the part where he was gonna lynch Marshal ;;___;;

Also wtf Wazza is obvious town imo

But Derps reminds me of myself in the sense that we both have good ideas, but we are terrible at explaining them

Is there a guide to getting better at reading?

Vulgard’s reads are so good, even if they’re wrong, if that makes sense.

I wish I could do that.

Like being better at elaborating your thoughts I guess? I have no clue, I’m gonna start writing essays if necessary lmao

and every advice post Alice has ever made

or wait, did you want advice on articulating them?

No, I’ll figure out how to do that later, thanks!

Totally irrelevant sidenote, but in general when you have a confirmed scum and a likely scum it’s better to have BD killers kill the confirmed scum rather than the likely scum because you won’t lose abilities/suicide

I’m not actually sure that’s true this game, because Allegiance is a thing, but

It’s much less likely for a wolf to be playing the ā€œI don’t give a damn about this gameā€ card.

I hate it when anyone does that, regardless of alignment.

Okay seriously I know he is in fact town but why are they just ignoring the fact that Italy was redchecked??

Don’t make the mistake of assuming too quickly that a player wouldn’t be capable of doing something as a wolf.

I figured Marshal would be lynched D3 so I could shoot someone that I thought was scum so we didn’t have to mislynch

So basically, let’s say you have:
Person A (99 percent likely scum)
Person B (65 percent likely scum)

If you shoot A, and B gets lynched, then you don’t face any guilt penalties that may apply to your class, and A and B are both dead

if you shoot B, and A gets lynched, then in the 35 percent of cases where B was BD, you face whatever guilt penalty applies, and A and B are still both dead

But I agree with Luxy’s reasoning that mislynches at least provide associations whereas confirmed scum lynches do not

Also I have a tendency to think things that are blatantly obvious for me are blatantly obvious for everyone else but that obviously isn’t the case
