The Maid’s Rumor will always roll alongside Matchmake, but Matchmake will not always roll alongside Rumor.

Matchmake (Night) - Test if target is compatible with the player you last checked. - Infinite Uses

This is only a rewording to better clarify something, and nothing has changed.
