All their reads feel genuine. I don’t have much doubts on how they actually couldn’t see how CRichard’s tone felt off. However, while they did ask “why”, it feels sort of whiteknighting (Arete, I think you brought this up?). They seemed more focused on why they believed pouncing onto CRichard was bad rather than why people were doing it. NKs can exhibit pocket-y behavior.
