Missing nightkill could come from multiple sources, including:

  • Killer hitting a Vessel target;
  • Killer being occupied;
  • Killer being imprisoned;
  • Killer hitting a healed target;
  • Killer hitting a death immune target.

Theorizing on it is pointless, also

groupscum want NK alive early game because they need the extra nightkills, so even if they hit an alleged DI N1 why would they out it on D2 and not later when they actually need NK dead

i think he was either trying to

A. use his visit as a defense, since i am still alive and (at least from my pov) unconverted
B. pocket me
C. get me mislynched for this exact reason, but this would require him to be orchestrated most likely

I suppose argument of incompetence could be made here, but again ā€“ Kat was bled.
This is the same thing Iā€™ve discussed before where we brought up the theory of NK SDA being bled, he doesnā€™t really have to out it? Also I find it mildly curious that both bled targets werenā€™t really in towncore or anything, they are TLā€™s/Nulltown which again, lines up with theory about scum being incompetent.
