i used to be really concerned with how i was read and now i care a lot less and it works out i guess

forcing yourself to look towny generally means you’re not actually being towny

in general the way to get converted a lot is:

  • be perceived as a good wolf (this is moderately different from being a good wolf)
  • be townread in the specific game in question, at least enough that you won’t be a lynch target
  • be playing well (in the sense of read accuracy) as town in that particular game (because if you’re not threatening the wolves, they’ll have less need/desire to convert you)
