I still think Alice/Appel are most likely the same alignment as of now. The most likely pairing for both of them is T/T.

im trying to figure out which one is more realistic because i think there’s a very valid case for scum!Arete and town!Arete to handle my slot the way they did
the biggest problem is that both town and scum arete have no reason to believe my claim as real which is why i don’t hold a strong conclusion either way
i think a few other people handled my slot in a much more AI way than arete did at least

First of all - she should know there is no lynch day 1, so it doesn’t matter if her early plays seem odd and out of place. If she really wanted reactions, I feel like she would’ve just done her thing instead of starting to ask people why she is playing like this. If she’s town, she’s probably trying to get reactions by asking this. If she’s scum, I can imagine some reverse-psychology unless she explains more.
Here are some posts where Appel talks about Alice. Those are the posts I think of that makes me think Alice/Appel is T/T

CRich has been at least slightly villagery but a lot of that is due to meta and I still feel vaguely weird about meta-clearing him without a wolf game

Started replying to a broken quote thinking that it was your messages, I should really try to wake up.
I mean, the way Appel interacts with Alice looks fine to me – just like her earlier posts – which is precisely why she’s one of my stronger TLs. The issue is that it’s Alice we are talking about.
Alice is able to imitate her behavior pretty well, so there’s still a world where this whole thing is T/W. But yes, I suppose I don’t think the two are groupscum together – for now.
