SFoL 61 - Castle of the Blood God - Ended Early, will be Re Randed(15/16)

oh wait

I thought you were saying that no one in the pool of 4 would be your first pick

you were just saying Intensify wouldn’t be

that makes more sense

That’s the plan, Italian man.
But I was talking strictly about benefits.

They do?

@Italy

godfuckingdamnit

This tagging system can easily backfire severely if we mislynch town and the first two voters who are cult get tagged. Every lynch we do from now on will have to be thought through carefully.

how did i miss that

I disagree (assuming both of you are villagers, scum are perfectly capable of faking TRs on villagers) but I basically follow your reasons for thinking this and they make sense from a town PoV?

I guess me reposting the whole paragraph about voting mechanic at the start of the game was for nothing because no one read it.
Even after I asked everyone to do so.

I want to talk about this, by the way.

I’m pretty confident Jane was attacked twice, so that would mean 2 deepwolves; excluding the fact that katze didn’t answer when Alice retracted the claim.

You missed reading that part where only cult gets affected by judgement Italy. It’s as simple as that.

why would that mean 2 deepwolves

why couldn’t they have been attacked by two non-deep wolves

Although I’m not sure if hunting for too many deepwolves is a good idea - it’s actually very bad so early - but it’s something we should keep in mind.

Because no one but me admitted to visiting Jane, and 2 people apart from me, supposedly, did. I’m using your logic here.

I don’t necessarily think that a PoE wolf would be more likely to truthfully claim their visit (probably somewhat more likely, since a PoE wolf would be more likely to expect the check to be on them?)

There is only one NK who isn’t seen visiting their target. That would be the Astromancer. If Appel’s information is correct, then we can safely say the NK isn’t the Astromancer.

The Astromancer :shield: :fire:

Neutral Killer
Untouchable (Passive) - You are immune to death, bleeding, occupation, and redirection, and will not be seen visiting your targets. You will be informed if any of these are attempted on you.

Here you go.

Actually, I think it’s exactly the opposite. My information isn’t based on visits.

Astromancer’s passive hides their visits, so they could safely lie without fear of consequences.

I don’t know how tinfoil-y this is, since there are only a few other possibilites, my best-case scenario included that Alice’s claim was legit.

anyways I was going to wait until he answered my question but I’m kind of excited about this take so instead I’m just going to post it :upside_down_face:

I kind of think Nappy had TMI on Alice’s check being fake

not positive on this take because Nappy’s been otherwise villagery, but:

Nappy responds to Alice's check

His initial response – ‘You were redchecked. Make your case!’ – feels kind of fake, like, that’s not how villagers respond to redchecked people

he also reiterates repeatedly that he doesn’t necessarily think this makes Gaja scum, and (even though he thinks Alice isn’t Scorned!) her check could be fake, which while true is not the Normal Response to a redcheck, the normal response is to think the redchecked person is a wolf

additionally, when I outed my Match against Anstreim, his immediate assumption was to jump to ‘Gaja is greenchecked so Arete’s result contradicts Alice’s,’ he never considered the possibility of Ans and Gaja being W/W (like, Ans was one of my top townreads, and I was considering it) which makes me think that he, again, knew that Alice’s response was fake

also the BD/Unseen posts I asked about earlier kinda felt like he was fishing for conclusive proof about whether Alice was lying vs. hit a frame (and additionally are not what a villager would typically be focused on in response to a redcheck)
