If Arete is a convert and one within Gaja/myself is on their team, they would think that Aliceā€™s check is real.
Meaning, claiming that their scumbud matches with a redcheck/consensus town isā€¦ an interesting strategy.

Unless you are implying that Gaja was the scumbud and they were trying to get me lynched through that associaton? Still a very strange play to me.

A lot of people agreed Alice was playing oddly and nullread her for it. Also Iā€™m fairly sure Arete knows how she plays as V, so they could expect Alice to do a second FPS right after their first RT and take a risk.
Nothing more than a theory, but all possibilities should be kept in mind.

When I asked if people were up for Gorta -> Arete lynches for max info, I was serious. Better have them flip sooner than later and then ponder if they were converted at some point.

I thought you werenā€™t serious about that question so I didnā€™t answer it.
I think convert hunting this early is a foolā€™s errand. Also, Iā€™m not a master deducer but I think it is possible to identify converted Arete through their social plays.
Therefore, Iā€™m against it. I think Italy/SDA/Cloned would be a better choice.
