I do not believe that extent to which 1 person you can ignore can cause damage is worth a lynch especially since we usually only get so little in mech heavy game like this.

I think this boils down to how much scum-equity we both think the person has, and our personal opinions on what we consider anti-town.

I think with this playstyle, Thomas should not live to endgame. If that means we PL or use town KP, whatever.

I mean this definetly is not how usually new scum would act and if we assume they are experienced they would need to take a strong gamble in which best result would be putting themselves somewhere on upper side of PoE

I’m not assuming they’re new just because they said they are, tbh. And look where this behavior has gotten them - into WIFOM land.
They can very easily be a wolf who went for a TWTBAW playstyle. It’s a genuine strategy, and not too far out there.

Additionaly they did not know sheriff/paladin do not exist which is unlikely if they have thought about fakeclaiming as scum
