Makes some sense why you’d have motivation to live on this one.
As I’ve explained before. Lucy was our top townread. Everyone was pretty much townreading her and no one really thought she was scum. Thus, it would be understandable that she would get some protectives. I also assumed scum would understand this, and they would try to play around protectives by attempting to convert her.
This happened before in FOL 30 where Paradox was converted for being top town read.
There were some other good options yes, but I thought Lucy would be the most likely be converted

Ice Ward might have been better, but I generally did not think she would get killed.
Also Ice Ward doesn’t prevent conversion, which was my top priority to prevent on Lucy with the assumption that protectives would also go on her.
