SFoL 64 - Anonymous FoL - Day 6 - The Possessor, Inquisitor, and Fool are victorious!

I think I am going to bed. I was hoping to see Emma on at this hour, but I can’t stay up much more.

I’m heading off to bed rn.

Also since I’m bleeding and Alan distracted everyone with that GT…

Edmond hasn’t really done much to make themselves really town like nor scummy, but I do think they are trying in their own way, I’d like to see Edmond adopt a more outward and agressive playstyle here instead of just sitting in the sidlings tbh.

Exactly, I doubt I would have survived too long either way in general Fol’s end pretty quick but now that we have a outed CW who can “protect” me I expect them to be on that and they pratically go down with me if I die… I guess we could be super unlucky and have something like a enforcer convert but In general we should Hopefully be fine here.

And ey maybe don’t pressure people with 5 votes early day

Well that’s lovely

I’d ask healers to be on this if they can.

Our Cw on me, (maybe king if GK for extra safety)

Knights/Observer on whoever you think will die. (Obs should generally be using their watch ability as it’s more stronger then follows because it gives clear info).

I would like nobles to use Bounty on someone who’s kinda light scum.

Honestly players like helen/Gilbert might be jailed and I don’t want you to waste it on one of my jailed targets, try to use your own head at least

Can’t argue against that and Investigatives don’t out your targets.

Because a kill is more likely to happen on a target you trust as much as you said. After all didn’t literally everybody townread Lucy? It was sort of obvious they were going to die.

But I have to say the honest reason? I could’ve just lied and said something entirely different but that’s the honest reason.

Pretty sure you’re getting jailed anyway.

Anyway, day ends in 5 hours and 3 minutes so we should just do nothing and wait until it’s over.

Honestly though I find it quite strange that no one has said to just execute me because it’s not like you have another choice.

That would have been a random execution and that usually flips a townie.
Which makes it even more disappointing there was that Grand Trial which didn’t need to happen.
It is what it is.

Honestly just waiting until night comes at this point but giving this time for others to reflect and think is good

That seems to be what we’re doing anyway.

I think this would hardly ever be a thought that comes from a mafia member. I am reinforcing my townread on Nicolas.

I do not dislike those reads at all. I think they are mostly acceptable, except for the placement of Edmond. I think Edmond has been townier than most other players in the game.

…You pinged someone who is not the King.

You said you were motivated to post more, and better. Where are those “better” posts? Where is “more?”
You have disappointed me.

You said you were about to contribute more to the game, and then you just dipped. I don’t think I buy your excuses anymore.

Are you saying this because you want your vote to be on the top wagon? Or are you curious if your mafia partners are being targeted by town-motivated wagons?

I realize there were no wagons at the time you wrote this post, because of the awful GT, but this post still pings me the wrong way. Unfortunately, I could see it come from a townie as well, but since your slot has been unimpressive throughout the game, including broken promises and sparse analysis… you keep on dwindling within my readlist.

“Basic” doesn’t necessarily mean “bad.” I think there are several mafia in this group. Not even just one.

I will say that Gilbert’s defense looks the best among these four, in my opinion.

Alignment reads! Thank you. At long last.
I agree about Mary. I still need to read Sarah, I should be able to manage it before EoD.

The usage of Grand Trial was incredibly pro-mafia. I don’t think a Good King uses Grand Trial like that, ever. Mary wasn’t even in consideration for day 2’s lynch. You don’t use Grand Trial as a Good King just to spite your personal scumread instead of helping your allies lynch their consensus scumread.

Especially if it ends the day without a lynch, which Alan knew as he used Grand Trial. The ability description says it all. If he had read it, he knew it would cut off the day without a lynch, unless we were to lynch Mary, which I would veto based on my prior read – and especially now.

Yeah mentaly my confidence went down a bit because of the events.
But meh I think we just need to try even harder at this point

I more or less agree with this assessment, except I would slot Alan where Edmond is.

Peter should also be much, much lower, come to think of it. While I did generally like his post about Jane, it still came across as conclusion before analysis overall, and that is a known tell used to find mafia members.

I do want to know why people think edmond is hard town instead of null personally

Something came up and I unfortunately won’t be available until just after the scheduled EoD time :upside_down_face:
Life is fun

Andy has moved up a bit for me lately (read my last big post), but I still have my doubts on the slot. So flip-floppy in my mind.
Peter moves down with every hour they aren’t in thread providing non-Jane content. Their push felt bad faith to me.

Otherwise my legacy post is still the same

Please don’t make any exact mechanical plans. Always leave room for wifom or its easy for wolves to work around things

Flipping Mary would make this day not an entire waste, but we don’t get anything out of it if they flip BD since there are no votes to analyze. At this point I’m not entirely sure it’ll be a W flip.

I know.
It’s just EK, but I happen to be a sucker for AtE. Blargh

I have explained why a few times. Relevant quotes listed below.

This quote also brings back my assessment of Geoffrey. I still don’t think it’s incorrect, I simply put it on the backburner in favor of pursuing other reads today.

The fact he has struck me as towny quite consistently throughout day 1 and day 2 (for the reasons explained in the quotes above) makes me think Edmond is just town.

I believe it would be a town flip. I veto flipping Mary.

Like I said before, Alan’s push and subsequent Grand Trial reek of a mafia King trying to enforce a mislynch. He would not target someone he had considered mafia, because those would be his partners; instead, he would look for a mislynchable BD. Ergo, a BD outside of the towncore. Like Mary most likely is.

There is a slight possibility that Mary’s a neutral, and an even less likely option – that Mary is mafia and Alan mistakenly thought she was town, but those are both less likely than Mary being just BD.

Once again, I’m not the only one making this mistake.

Interesting.
