If I were a Cultist then I’d be risking locking me into mech-confirming the NK as BD, which would fuck me over. If I were a NK, then I’d be risking a lot on a wrong check for the first two nights.
that is exactly what i am trying to figure out.
it’s nothing that couldn’t be done by a Cultist with good reads, as it’s very unlikely you would happen to pick a Neutral to “clear” randomly and even less so if you’re confident in your reading abilities.
for an NK though, this is a lot more difficult to pull off and why i think that if you are scum, you’re CL rather than NK.

And Cult had 2 Cabalists, and by chance more than likely they were all BD.
Here lies the problem:
We know that all the converts went through.
Cult had 2 convert opportunities and we have all of those accounted for.
They would not have had a chance to fail to convert me.
If I was attacked but didn’t die, what is there to say that I wasn’t protected? Even if I was NK, Cult wouldn’t know beyond PoE who is the NK.
With Emma yesterday, it would’ve been a 3v1v4 yesterday. Yes it is true that Cult would try to kill off NK. But when Emma pushed me, it was simply because they believed I was the most suspicious; scum could not have had conclusive proof.
Also in a 3v1v4, as cult, it doesn’t really matter who you kill:
if you kill town, you get to 3v1v3.
worst case scenario you wake up with 2v1v3 with near 100% evidence on NK for not dying. Simple pushes would’ve gotten rid of the NK, especially with Emma deepwolf.
non-worst case scenario you would end up with 3v1v2, where you have majority; you simply ask town to side with you, and you win.
Had emma not been revealed, they could’ve pushed on anyone and still have won the game.
