The “both kills came from neutral” was a misunderstanding of mine.
However, while I do agree that the N1 kill probably involve an Assassin, I don’t see why the other kill has to involve Derps and not a Neutral Killing.

Any “and NE” could be NK if the NK kill (or another kill) was stopped or prevented somehow.
specifically because the OP says neutral evil/neutral killer and for whatever reason, I wasn’t going to jump to the assumption that there’s a neutral killer in the game.

if we want to make the list of possibilities even longer and more confusing, you could add any number of combinations that result in 3 kills with 1 being prevented somehow lol
Sorcerer can place bombs during the day in some versions.
Which they can detonate at night
I haven’t encountered any version of sorcerer yet in the FoLs I’ve played, but at least in ToL, the current version of sorcerer can either choose a single night kill, or choose to plant bombs during the day and then detonate all bombs at night.
…kinda iffy, but okay.
I mean, I don’t believe it, but Cult in this setup is technically still possible.
