you need to post
try not to go inactive, posting at least 30 useful posts a day is good
if the thread seems very quiet/low in post numbers post more
if you have to go inactive, don’t say “will read later.” Make useful posts
A useful post is one in which you add any thoughts to a certain situation at hand. Even just taking a random post and saying “I agree with this” is more useful than not posting.
Stop making walls nobody will read. Put each paragraph into one post instead. If you’re worried about being drowned out, ask for some space or wait to post it.

if you think you are posting too much, you are. Shut the fuck up
Take breaks from thread, especially if the thread is making you feel worse about yourself
If you get into a fight with someone. Stop immediately. Say you’re going away from thread, even if they continue posting, stop posting.
Put your thoughts into paragraphs. One sentence stream of consciousness posts are annoying and just clog the thread up (people in glass houses etc)

Plan for worlds where you are wrong. Before you kill someone plan for what happens if they flip town.
Stop owning people. Get your head out of your ass and accept Mafia is a team game. Nobody cares how good at owning someone you think is a wolf you are. It’s just annoying and it makes you feel like shit if they aren’t one. Let other people talk and have opinions.
Dont let your own mental state influence you. If you’re feeling insecure, mafia is a bad way to feel good about yourself. Dont try to steamroll the game to feel better about yourself. Take a break. If you are feeling like trash, sub out. Nobody will judge. And remember, everyone makes mistakes.
