I think I know what is wrong with this post
You see, I think town HTM would be more likely to respond to “Did you read my classcard?” with something along the lines of “Yes, I actually did for once.” or “No, I didn’t actually lemme go do that real quick.” whereas this version has that crafted feel to it
“It’s prolly because I don’t read it.”
That seems so formal from HTM
“But I did read it this time”
You really read this post putting emphasis on the word ‘did’ here, and it feels like something you’d say to your english teacher when they ask you whether you read some book or article that was for homework or something.
It just feels unnaturally crafted, this is the kinda post I catch myself doing more often
