Short version they were incredibly eager to start getting the game going and have played aggressively in a way I wouldn’t suspect them doing as scum.

Their initial explanations for their inactivity had a sense of yeah-I-know-I’ll-be-inactive-but-inevitably-I’ll-get-drawn-into-the-game that only town can effectively do from my experience.
It’s not entirely impossible for them to say what they did as scum, but it would have to be the first time that tell has actually failed me.
