I think Blue knew they were likely going down – I’d already FoS’d them for their weak Iso and their general lack of contribution to the thread, and they were going to be a decent lynch for today, and even if they didn’t end up being the lynch they would likely die soon enough to an Arbiter redcheck. Given that, it makes perfect sense for them to falsely accuse a townie in the hopes of getting them hung – basically, they will die, which would have happened anyway, but in exchange they get a free mislynch on a townie. I suspect they chose me because I was more or less a consensus townread at the end of yesterday, and I was one of the driving forces of momentum in the court, meaning that ordinarily lynching me would be extremely difficult, so they needed the fake redcheck. It’s possible that in addition to that, they guessed (apparently correctly) that I wouldn’t be able to defend myself well.
This sort of thing is relatively common in ToL meta, but far less common here, which is I think why most of you didn’t recognize it.

Also all of this contrasts with your fake socialite log - bear(bare?) with me here - saying that I should have been a priority Arbiter check: as Arbiter, you would have acted on your own read and done that instead of going elsewhere, as you claimed.

The only problem with that theory though is we know a good majority of claims atm, I think we are missing two. So unless those two are sentinals, then it still only brings the number to three
