Arete is hedging in a way that makes perfect sense if they are suicide bomber that flip tailors (about as strong as needed to be useful)
They set up a Priestess lynch perfectly. Their readslist becomes more valid (look at those townreads). Since they are scumread, setting up Priestess puts them in the strongest mechanical position
