I am going to summarise it but I have already done it.
That’s why, you need to read LIKE I SAID.
Maxwell:
Maxwell has been very defensive from the beginning. He brought up how frequently he is considered LHF and lynched. There was hardly any pressure on him when he did that, only a couple of questions. He then proceeded to start giving reads - very easy reads, such as the meta read on Hja being town. All of that seems like Maxwell is constantly on the defensive from the very beginning, needlessly worried about getting lynched early in the day. I believe Maxwell is also scum as a result.
This is a side note, but post 460 feels like scum!Geyde openly coaching scum!Maxwell and not a TvT or TvS interaction. I believe the world where Geyde and Maxwell are both scum is very likely to be true.
Later on, both Arete and Geyde essentially dodge reading Maxwell, saying he will be resolved later. This feels like a pair of scum attempting to postpone Maxwell’s lynch until it is too late. Maxwell was under heavy fire when they defended him, therefore it would make perfect sense for Maxwell’s scumbuds to try and take the heat off of him. I refuse to believe both Arete and Geyde independently came to the conclusion Maxwell will be resolved later. This is the type of hedgy read town rarely ever makes. Both Geyde and Arete making it at the same time? That cannot be right. That is scum agenda shining through.
In conclusion, Maxwell is outed scum to me not only based on his behavior, but also based on how other people have been treating him. After the initial heat he became quite complacent with the thread, but at the start of day 2 he began to try making himself look townier. It did not feel genuine, however - especially since Maxwell is holding onto these efforts like a crutch while defending himself. It feels deliberate, like a planned strategy. Perhaps a scumbud asked him to do this? Considering how artificial it feels, that is quite likely.
Whoever occupied Maxwell N1, assuming Maxwell is telling the truth - that person has to be town.
