Day 2 his tone did not change whatsoever and he kept on doing his own thing, asking questions to get the answers he needed for the sake of verifying his feedback. In short, he is actively trying to solve the game and his posts feel pure. I believe Derps is getting townier every time he posts. These are pretty small steps, but still.

As for your first question - it could have been both. Electing Hja as King was both easy to do and rather towny. They could also have been planning to replace the King at that point - however, we don’t know and I am not going to guess what the scum faction’s mechanics are.
The possibility does affect my opinion on Magnus a little bit. However, until we know for sure what the Omega Action was (or can convincingly infer it), we can’t confirm 100% that a scum-aligned King was elected in place of a BD-aligned one. Which is why I would rather leave these shenanigans for later.
