[SFoL] SFoL 53: Looming Threat - Completed

I don’t know, if pretending to be clueless is a way to respond that

Yes, Italy can gamesolve if he really feels like it :upside_down_face:

Well you are either concerned those who mentioned Strongman or those who don’t, who would you choose?

He can’t jail himself ffs.

Unless waz is the special murderer we’re looking for, it was a strongman.

Okay, why can’t he jail himself.

Spoiler

Redirect immunity doesn’t apply to day abilities.

That is pretty stupid, was there a game after FoL2 that one tried to jail the prince themselves by scum knowing well they can’t get to jail to kill them, strongman or not.

Come on, I am waiting.

I’d say the passive is there for reason, you claim - you dug your grave.

We’ve gone over this a few times already, haven’t we?
Luxy is 100% prince, there are no flip alters.
Luxy claims to have been self redirected.
Luxy was convinced he could mercy himself, which means he was likely placed into a jail chat with himself.

Well have scum ever try to kill jailed targets, I don’t think bypassing stuff would do that, that would be too OP and bastard. On plus side, we will likely not encounter NK any time soon.

Since Luxy claimed as you said, the jail is no safe haven for him and they probably did that since Solic is likely a member of theirs.

I would suggest ISO if Luxy want to jail Solic or stuff like that

oh my lord.
that’s
not
how
determination
works
luxy never even hardclaimed, and if he softed, i’d like you to quote that.

@Frostwolf103

Can I hear reasoning behind this? Why would discussing about strongman be bad?

Also, Italy has said several points as well. I’d like to see where you have seen Luxy, no matter how small, can be intepreted as a soft.

Italy basically said it for me Frost.
Even if Luxy softed, it just meant heals on them (including their self heal) would fail. Their self-imprisonment wouldn’t.

Wow. A lot of stuff went down.
Interesting turn of events with Arete being Justicar. I definitely would have pushed you all the way to a lynch had you not done that.

I need to sleep on a few things, the first being the argument between Italy and Frost. I think there is at least 1 scum in there.

I also need to think about Vulgard. I know we were in the same boat with Arete near the tops of our scum lists, but since Arete outed Vulgard did a 180. I’m probably just upset because I went from their original town core to their scum list. Joking aside, I mean me and several other players didn’t say anything from the time Vulgard released their original list to flipping it upside down. I was reading Vulgard as a slight town before, but I also didn’t notice until recently that Vulgard had replaced Priestess and Priestess was a strong scum read by many. Also, Vulgard’s weird line of questioning on what I thought of someone else’s post was very mysterious.

Sorry if it seems like I’m rambling on. It’s been a long day and these are my thoughts before I go to bed.

Oh, another thing. Derps is eerily persistent on still wanting Arete lynched. I haven’t played too many games, but in two of the games that I’ve played with Derps he was a super aggro and erratic scum player. Is this a common tactic used by them in all games?

There a couple of other players mentiones that I agree we need to push on, but these are my thoughts for now and mostly what I’m going to think on overnight.

Oh crap. Another thought. I’ve played a few games with Tele now and they seemed slightly more aggressive than nornal, so initially I was scum leaning them, but I like a lot of their reads now.

Im null on shurian right now, so I think my goal is to go through some of their stuff for tomorrow.

This is turning into a long post and I didn’t mean for this. The lone wolf thing really throws a wrench in to what I thought was going to happen. The King swap new world order thing confuses me because it could go either way; LW could have swapped out for less pressure or they could have swapped in for more scum control. I guess they could also have just used it to cause mayhem if its their only action, but I find that doubtful.

I also do think Italy is on the right track with the scumteam only having limited use of their special abilities. My guess is if they used something like that on the Prince last night then there might be a cool down period and our justicar can almost breathe easy for a night.

I know this post isn’t linear, but I’m on mobile and just getting my thoughts out there. Have a good night, everyone. I hope I have a clear head for the morning to come to some conclusions.

Ahhhhhhhhhh

Damn one more thing, if there are a large number of scum in this game, should we be careful when one player is getting 4 or 5 votes around the same time? I bet a large number like that could get pretty persuasive for players that aren’t following the game as closely.

Thats all. Talk to you in the morning.

That is not the point, I am saying jail protection will fail for Luxy too when attacked.

Yes, it is the point.
It’s not protection technically. It’s prevention of visit.
As if everyone is automatically occupied (not to do with protection. But to do with occupation and ability to perform action) when visiting because they’re unable to get through.

This is something we need the host to clarify.
If we just ask, then we’ll know what it entails and whether Frost… or everyone else… is right.

It still protects the jailed target - in that case, the prince, wouldn’t protect from that if he ever softs.

Hmm but I don’t see really soft other than he said he like heal often, Prince can heal, that is only soft I can think of.

The question begs if softing prince claim himself would remove redirect immunity as well since it protects against such redirects, day and night otherwise, you see?
