[SFoL] SFoL 53: Looming Threat - Completed

It took 3 nights for them to clean out town. There’s 6 of them. All our vigs died in the chaos.

And they didn’t even get punched at all for any of those days
They hit all of their actions almost perfectly

Justicar being unprotectable was indefensible

I personally like cult to be more about converting then unseen

Justicar can’t be protected after outing. Also they’re the only reliable faction checker.

THE only one

Oh right, also they’re unique.

I’m not arguing that this game wasn’t scumsided
It’s just that people aren’t arguing the right points for why it was scumsided

Pros outweight cons, big time.

Statistically, scum had a greater majority than a normal on average, not factoring in random chance.

Even if Teleology shot Marshal it would have rebounded. Literally killing herself with her own arrow.
But there is no point in complaining about the setup. It can’t be changed.
We’ve learned loads from this though.

Vulgard

I don’t think scum was powerful because of 6 v 19

but instead more based around some abilities

They could have just shot Solic
Who was in PoE and had the shittiest associations

You can’t use ToL numbers to judge the scumsidedness numerically because conversion is super overpowered

Solic was in POE all game and never got shot

She said in dead chat that if she had shot night 1 she would have shot me

OOF

She almost doubleshot you and Ozz on N2

Syndicate had the combined megapros of unseen & cult combined (Unseen has uniqueness and power, cult has large numbers) while leaving behind a lot of the cons (faction checkers are major threats, prince is actually able to be protected after outing, the game actually fucking starts with a king)
