This post is like… it looks like a waterfall, like a free thought process. But my impression is that it’s a Plinko board. It was always going to start with ‘well Arete is not BD’ and end with ‘we will lynch or poison Arete!’. I think it doesn’t make much sense for anyone but me though, so I’ll try to rephrase it.
I think Tele was trying to fake progression there, like she has given the Arete matter a lot of thought. Perhaps she even has, because no matter which faction you are, it is good to know the faction of the King. But anyway, this feels like she is trying to look like she generates content, but went for the easy way to do that - discussing Arete’s potential alignment and our options related to them.
I don’t like these vibes, honestly. Maybe my argument makes little to no sense here, but I think that starting post was pretty scummy. It didn’t bring anything new to the table, it just showed progression. The part about ‘I’m not King, I was FoL neuts in’ feels tacked on and unnecessary, too. Basically I’m getting the impression the post was trying way too hard to be towny.
I’m afraid this is the game where Tele has finally rolled scum.
