Now I may not have considered Shurian as Strigoi at first and hence I mentioned, it’s waste of time, but that’s key difference compared what you said.

For what it’s worth I also trust him, because I feel like if he was scum his scumbuddies would have reminded him the game existed during D2.

He did not speak at all D2 and allegedly no actioned N2.
