I don’t know if I doubt the flip or if I doubt Marshal’s reads. I usually see Marshal as a strong player, and he has definitely played alongside Frost before - so he may know more than me when it comes to Frost’s posts. I’m just very confused by his n1 action.
- You’re only given two uses of Window Peek - With his softclaim d1 of Marshal, he should have expected to receive protection, so there is no use in wasting Window Peek before the scum-faction can convert.
- Why Frost??? - If you’re going to use the arguably worse choice of night actions, as you can only find so many classes n1 with it - why did he select Frost over anyone else? Why not someone who didn’t talk at all? Why peek the person who softed Marshal?
- Why not follow Arete? - Arete claimed bled. A follow on Arete can confirm multiple people at once, rather than a single person with Window Peek.

I don’t know what I’m confused by, I’m just confused in general. I want someone else’s opinion as to why Marshal used this ability - and why he used it on Frost
What if he didn’t use the ability at all, but rather the champion tampered with his logs?
The Champion (or Arbiter) would have to be knowledgeable of Marshal and how he acts. Theres a damn meme and rick-roll in the logs. If that ISN’T Marshal’s logs, then starting scum is someone who is very familiar with him
Time to check what Neuts/NKs can alter flips and logs. Otherwise, the only possibility for an altered flip here IMO is HoB
Honestly that might make sense. We think NK went for the kill on Marshal as he softed Marshal, and Possessor has a very safe attack from my understanding - meaning they don’t have to necessarily worry about protection on Marshal
Why does the killer, theoretically, disguise Marshal as Nightwatch though? To claim Marshal themselves? That feels kinda far-fetched though.
