Also after reading many comments - I do not think Arete is starting scum. In order for them to be scum, they would either have faked the bleed d1, or been bled by demon. Also -the only reason they would go for a fake bounty on sulit is if they attempted to convert Sulit n1 and failed, or simply yolo’d a bounty target.

Also, Arete outted the Investigative on Frost before Frost claimed that he redirected Nappy to himself. In a theoretical situation where Arete and Nappy are starting scum, the only way for Arete to know that Insight of the Worthy ended up targeting Frost is if Frost was the original target.

Basically, Napoleon would know he was redirected, but not to whom. They would also have no way of knowing that this was a Baronet redirect (unless they assumed from Frost’s converted class type.)

I don’t know if any of my rambling makes sense but tldr I don’t see Arete as starting scum unless they are fuckin gigabrain
