game swings hugely based on whether NK is yeeted early

NKs, as far as things go, have a huge amount of KP tied to them, most of them being able to manage multiple KPN at least once, and that means the game swings hugely depending on when they die. The alternative, making them have minimal KP, is basically the same thing as ā€œyou lose lolā€

anime fm is a good example of a neutral killer designed to win

it keeps both factions in check, basically
it makes it so that the town doesnā€™t die too early and leaves groupscum with the constant risk of death so that they donā€™t grow too strong
except as a result it FUCKING SUCKS

either that or itā€™s insanely powerful and wouldnā€™t even need for there to be a scumfaction ingame for it to completely curb stomp town

thatā€™s the theory, yes, but the point at which they die to lynch is so absurdly important

which is why it needs to be considerably more difficult to kill them off quickly

right but if you do that the swing doesnā€™t dissapear

all youā€™ve done is youā€™ve made one non-ideal situation become less likely but in doing so increased the likelihood of another bad scenario. NKs are dangerously swingy and are generally not particularly fun to play.

yes italy itā€™s almost like adding things which increase the strength of NK can fall to dumb luck and meaningless swing without fundamentally altering the mature of FoL hm

look, i think FoL would work much better if NK wasnā€™t something we had to consider all the time, thatā€™s all.
