I donāt know why, but this feels like he wants Alice to be town so bad that heās unwilling to see any way she could be scum and struggling to think of ways in which sheās town a bit. Maybe Iām just being paranoid though, but if Alice eventually flips scum, I think Centuries deserves a closer look honestly. I think Centuries deserves my vote more than Magnus too. This read of Alice of his seems pretty forced.
