Noz is probably CL and as such him killing Marl was very unlikely.

Marl was not a cult kill, he makes no sense as a cult kill and I would never waste Mithras’s Mercy on that.

And I know it’s a ridiculous tinfoil but that is the only scenario that makes sense.
He didn’t, but everything he did was anti-town.
I have extreme doubt believing that Marl wouldn’t say anything about being plagued.

I think that Marl, being Good King, would at least leave a message in his journal that he was going to willingly die to the plague.

We’re talking about someone who quickhammered because they were going to die anyway, started a massclaim for next to no reason on D2, used Royal Finger on a VFC target and LAMIST’d all the time.

The scenario that makes sense to me is the one I already presented. Hippo as converted Physician, Noz as CL. Ici did not kill Marl, I agree with that.
There’s no reason not to elect Wolfy King, as scummy as his chat may have been sometimes.
