I think a thing this post is doing is conflating ‘able to imitate their town meta’ with ‘deepwolf’
you’re frequently mispushed and misexe’d even as town, so even if you’re imitating that meta perfectly as scum that doesn’t make it necessarily desirable
its just not consistent, I’m trying but we will see. Its a large improvement overall from lotr but god I dont think I played enough, I was hiding in thread a lot
Because you weren’t really a threat.
If you were the last offensive instead of Wazza, I would do anything in my power to ML you – the worst you could do was prevent a conversion or erad, but you couldn’t do it on yourself.
So we just killed you at night.
This game made me want to try making more reads that aren’t the typical “you’re acting scummy because tone, agenda, etc.” I suck at typical reads anyway and they feel forced when I do them
when I was actually sorta solving because I was bored I asked the villagers if they could remember a serious push made by each of [list of players not in sphere and not self-resolving]
and then I realized that you hadn’t really had any major pushes
which meant you were probably a wolf
(I’d been tinfoiling earlier that part of why you wanted only super townie people in the bubble was to nuke it, but you’d been doing that even as town so lolArete)
That was actually because back when I was town I wasn’t confident in my reads whatsoever.
I don’t know what happened this game, I just had no substance as town.
