I think they have high scum equity - disregarding mechanics. And tbh? Fuck mechanics. They have proven they know how to get ā€œmechconfirmedā€ as scum. So their claim doesnā€™t make me townread them.

d1 they felt absent, and the mostā€¦ importantā€¦ things they did were ask if people would commit to visit them, and talk about the Trial By Council.
Arete is a strong enough player to not have to rely on mech-confirmation to make it to towncore, so their reliance on mech makes me skeptical.

I find the fact that they outted having been Condemned kinda odd? Its an easy way to figure out who is and isnt the Executioner, depending on how they react - which kinda happened. Me and Blizer are kinda clear of it because we didnt realize they were referencing having been Condemned over Sentenced. So thats fun.

Also feels like Arete is skirting around the sidelines just watching things unfold, but not really doing much except providing insight on peopleā€™s metas, asking NAI questions, and generally justā€¦ posting things that make it look like theyā€™re doing stuff

Iā€™ve noticed that from Areteā€™s slot too. They werenā€™t the same as I remember them in SFoL 61.5 when he was starting town. Iā€™d take a good look between this game and SFoL 61.5 to check for differences.

Part of me is scared to scumlean/scumread Arete because I donā€™t think Iā€™m a strong enough player to get them jettisoned if they really are scum, because they can defend themself easily
