the issue I had with their post was that they jumped straight from the fact that I was arguing for Marshal/Chloe being potentialyl V/V to ‘Arete must be TMIing’ rather than actually considering my arguments, which if they are V/V makes sense from the perspective of a wolf who wants to maintain the status quo
but past the thread read i dont really see it being v/v
and i think the status quo can be correct here

You asked them if they’d consider each other villagers, to throw doubt if one of them flips villager today to ensure the other wasn’t going to be yote right after.
so in a world where they’re v/w, if we yeet the villager first, people will go “oh ok, we don’t kill the other” because it wasn’t directed at everyone else to look agenda-y. it was only directed at one person who is alive, and who is presumably the wolf of the two.
