I came back to read a wallpost from Arete and a wallpost from Centuries
And I don’t know what to make of them
If I read Arete’s wallpost as them being town (which I did, because I took a long break from the thread), it has some points in it that are decent but I still don’t fully understand some of those reads.
Also if I read Arete’s read on me as coming from town then it just means I’ve literally been toxic and all my reads must be wrong, which I don’t like because I am town and I have not been pushing agenda on Arete (I literally said we aren’t yeeting them today). I see them as a very capable town player but also a very capable wolf player and they could absolutely pull this as a wolf and it would be a good play. Pulling it as town seems… idk, disappointing to me in a weird way. Like I don’t know if town Arete would be so quick to jump on me for “misreading them”, “being a bad villager”, or misconstruing their arguments the way they say I am. I don’t actually want to think I suck as a player because I made Arete upset over a game by tunnelling them.
On the other hand, I don’t know how much of it is genuine AtE and how much is fake and it’s very honestly pissing me off because I know this is how they got Chloe, regardless of their alignment, and I don’t want to fall for the same trick.
Also can we just… Drop the whole guarantee on tomorrow’s yeet? At the very least Arete is probably right that we shouldn’t plan flips, and I think maybe we’ll have more info before EoD3 that will give us a narrower PoE.

last night I remember vaguely a conversation happening where someone said marshal accepted Arete’s explanation way too fast which likely means he just used it to get out of being locked in with Chloe

but its important to do so considering what Marl`s position and reads were from day 1
marl dying gives mafia a significant increase in the power to set the agenda for town
with two good players that type of of power is rlly neat, never underestimate how easily mafia can win if you kill all the loud voices
