I never kill arete there. Arete is literally the worst kill possible if I’m scum, not because he was tunneling on me, I could talk myself out of a tunnel, but bexause Blizerr is the best kill there if Chloe is town. It’s much easier to control the narrative when you can influence how people think at night due to the night kill, and Blizer literally got Leafia promise to vote chloe if he died. Just because Arete is right about me being scum, doesn’t mean he can get me lynched when other people are painted pretty badly due to the Blizer night kill.
Using my line of thinking, this is exactly why I would kill Arete in Chloe’s situation, especially since it would look tremodunsly bad for Chloe if blizer died.
