Solution to the King Meta

As you all propably know, the new king meta forces evils to prepare fake and scummy logs , while forcing BD such as hunters and princes to claim to a possibly evil king, which harms the BD’s interests. The evil king can namely find an ally and whisper them who the prince is. As a result, this meta must be stopped.

What I propose is the removal of the whisper ability from the king. Thus the Good King cannot detect fake claims and the Evil King cannot find prince, nor let evils know they are allied with the king. This allows for smarter play by the king who has to protect his allies without them knowing that. A public implication is always possible.

In reality, kings are a kingdom’s leader and should not have anything to hide or whisper.

Please comment on my idea to stop the horrible meta and ,if you want me to, I will
edit the post including the reworked king’s class card.

Yeah but it would be pretty boring.

You either remove all whispers or just his whisper because imo it would be super boring being the only one not being able to whisper.

I agree I don’t want to mindlessly whisper to the king but there is prob a better solution to this.

And, it just lead to the Jailors Meta, because players who are in a good role and want to win the games, will not just wait for scum to fall down like magic, or to reveal themselves. also, the vast majority of the players are not really to read if a player is evil depending on the words he writes online as many players are just as passive/ quiet, when good as they are when evil. To force claims and search for someone who has a weak claims or who lies is the most effecients way of finding evils.
I really don’t think, its a good idea to deal with the problem.

I understand what you say, but the king could now say: alchemist do that and merc on him, while up to now he could whisper both. I get your point though

Well, The game I used to play : the Werewolves of thiercelieux, didn’t allow players, hoverer if I remember, all classes where unique and it was nearly forbidden to reveal our classes to others players. and we had 4 minutes or more to find someone suspicious

Now, excuse but
1 : the classes are not uniques
2 : we have less 90 seconds per to claim

Captain : VFR / Prince Meta / Pseudo Prince Meta, if the prince can find a trustable ally who’ll get the attention of evils without dying too fast or be converted.
