I added some new shazzle.

I like it the changes are fun and interesting plus at least it does something about how useless distract is

I don’t like this one. It doesn’t accomplish the goal the ability is ment to furfill.

Fair, but i feel that Foresight is pretty “eeehhh” in what it does.

While not being as definite , i feel this still does its job in a different way.

It really doesn’t. Follow is terrible at finding conversions.

Drunks are a bit on the strong side, so I agree with the change to Debauchery, and I also agree with the Distract change as it makes Butlers less insta-confirmed in Unseen games.

For the MM and Hunter changes those are a hard no from me. The current iteration of Foresight fits the class better and It’s already extremely easy to fake Obs logs as MM and having a target bleed out two nights after the night that they’re wolfed makes a Hunter kill take too long to take effect.

How? Like no class other than Nightwatch can fake claim obs easily

Unless BD are dumb and don’t check logs it’s almost impossible

I’ve never actually used Foresight to find conversions. :stuck_out_tongue: I’ve used it to uphold a Princess claim, or at best, finding that rare conversion immune. While this iteration of Follow may not be as instant as the Old foresight, overtime you can see who they visit and gain a clue as to what class they are.

Glad you agree on the changes to the Drunk and Assassin.

I do agree, this change fits a bit less thematically, but that can be easily fixed :slight_smile:
Observer, like I said in the post , actually takes a lot of effort. Unless you have some early lead onto who visits who it basically becomes a guessing game.

With regards to the hunter, that was actually just me remembering it wrong! I’ll change it.

There are many ways , the most boring is to just slap on a notification if they’re immune or not lol

IMO the foresight change doesn’t hurt nightwatch any more than it adds to duchess. At least in my view princess is a reasonable class to be able to fake claim blindly, IE from player ques, whisper patterns… and even a totally in the dark shot is a 1 in 3 chance.

The way I see it almost all classes abilities are secondary to their ability to fake and blend in. Observer right now is too OP of a class by itself due to the fact that it’s completely unfakable outside of a nightwatch (well unfakable assuming BD actually is trying and examining claims. It’s perfectly fakable assuming they don’t ask for logs… are too dumb to find it suspicious if someone peaks in the first 3 days, or don’t bother calling out if they visited someone that you supposedly watched).

As far as using foresight to find converts, I don’t see much of a point in that. you generally need to convert whenever possible, early game nobody’s got the time to check around for a perfect match. mid/late game most people have claimed publicly anyway. Scum abilities biggest stregnth and most common use, is to be able to fake BD classes via things they can’t solve.

Also worth pointing out, the MM’s semi-princess thing, is also flawed due to his lack of a whisp. So yeah I’d still have to say striking observer from the “unfakables” list is miles away far more good than bad.

It doubles the odds of hitting a convertible class past the first one because you have more chances to hit them due to being able to check while on cooldown (N2, N4, ect)

Also this change would only weaken Obs without actually helping MM that much. Because yes MM could claim Obs now. However everyone would know that thus preventing it from actually getting you anywhere. Plus it removes those high information focus strategies.

Maybe it’s just me but I would like MM to be an “undetectable” beast that could claim almost every BD class and the only way it would be a scumreading.

Unfortunately Immunities aren’t that beneficial in most games:

Multiple Cult Leaders > MM Immunities

(I know there can be multiple Masterminds but it’s only happening in like 20% of the games)

Has at least one ability that a competent BD should execute someone who hasn’t used that ability though often doesn’t (wouldn’t be fathomable to claim if the game ever had a ranked or vets mode)

Court wizard (tornado)
The Hunter (Wolf and being unique)
The Mystic (pretty self explanatory)
The Noble (Social)
The Observer (Investigative)
The Prince (Killer)

IMO that top list is way too small. just takes the right classes dying early on to eliminate 80% of suspects for MM+assasain+NK. IMO the game desperately needs more than 4 classes for that list at the top.
