… I can’t tell, is there a preference/unwritten rule on whether to just reply or quote? Or minimize quoting situations?
You can do either, there’s no standard or preference. If you want to showcase a point in a post it’s better to quote.

I’m not sure if you guys are just being silly or what, but the easiest way to explain might be “This is the first game I’ve played since I came out, and this is most likely how my tone will stay permanently.”
