BD Special

Passives:
Authority: You can talk at all times during a trial. Your first accusation each day counts double. If you are executed during the day there will be no trials the next day.
Tenacity: You are immune to occupation and redirection.

Day:
Swear Fealty (2 use): Make target player immune to conversion tonight.
Last Word (1 use): The accused player will be pardoned or executed depending on your vote. Can only be used if you didn’t accuse that player.

Night:
Guards! (2 use): Become death immune for tonight.
Safeguard (4 use): Grant target player death immunity for the night. Cannot be used on the same target twice in a row.


Starting Evil King
Cultseen Special

Passives:
Authority: You can talk at all times during a trial. Your first accusation each day counts double.
Tenacity: You are immune to occupation and redirection.

Day:
Last Word (1 use): The accused player will be pardoned or executed depending on your vote. Can only be used if you didn’t accuse that player.

Night:
Improved Safeguard (3 use): Grant target player or yourself death immunity tonight.
Allies (3 use): Check if a player is a member of the Cultseen. If they are not an ally, frame them instead.


Elected Kings:
Don’t have Swear Fealty, Safeguard or Allies.


Possessor:
When Possessing the starting King, they will get the double vote passive.


Silence buff:
Will also prevent voting to counteract the lack of Point, so Assassins can still have a chance in a 1v1.

I don’t like current point “meta” so I moved it into a passive and gave Poss the ability to fake it.
Because of that I had to nerf Slam into this version.

I wanted to make the Starting King more important to keep around so after some discussion on the discord I decided to give the SGK CM as a passive which would 1. make Kings more important to keep around, 2. prevent the obvious easy converts and have MM/CLs give more thought into them, 3. make King more interactive.

The CM thing was actually an afterthought, EK Frame on allies was what I first came up with and had to in turn buff GK to prevent the stupid “d2 exe King meta”


I think with these changes, King will be more fun to play, more likely to get info as he can 1. protect from conversions AND 2. protect from attacks.
Allow EKs to help their team out from the shadows by using frames.
Make frames more common which makes BD more likely to suspect a wrong check.
Buff the framing abilities from evils and also slightly nerfing Fool… maybe.

And some other things that I don’t remember right now.

i mean.

it makes the king more powerful.
it stops the “royal finger first vote” meta
it makes an EK more dangerous to keep around

whats not to gain from it? that just seems like bowing to le meta

Right now you know which member they are if they are scum. Why remove it?

I’m not removing it. I’m having it additionally frame non allies.

I was lazy and didn’t want to do the Elected class cards. Basically it’s like current King but reflecting the changes to Point and Slam.
